GIRLS MAKING MEDIA is thrilled to announce that Iskashitaa Refugee Harvesting Network was selected as recipient of the Tucson Pima Arts Council 2011-2012 P.L.A.C.E III Project Grant. Between March and December of 2012, Iskashitaa will collaborate with Girls Making Media to archive Iskashitaa local recipes and refugee stories related to food and culture in two forms: a cookbook and digital stories. We look forward to learning and educating about refugees in the arts through this project. Thanks to Barbara Eiswerth for including us in this meaningful multigenerational project!

NEW COLLABORATIVE PROJECT ANNOUCEMENT!
